[ARCHIVED] Council will consider creating a Country Club Advisory Board Thursday

NOTE: NEW COUNCIL START TIME OF 6:00 p.m.

Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Council will address at their meeting on Thursday, January 9 at 6 p.m. in Village Hall: 

  • Consider a proposal from BD Environmental Group for the installation of a cured-in-place pipe liner at 744 Cinnamon Road, at a cost of $30,525.
  • Consider on 1st reading eliminating the Golf Advisory Board, and creating a Country Club Advisory Board. the proposal is intended to ensure proper citizen representation and oversight of other Country Club assets, such as the pool and Tennis Center. 
  • Consider on 2nd reading, ordinance changes relating to Construction Site Standards.
  • Consider a minor amendment to the Prosperity Village Planned Unit Development to modify the roof pitch for modern style homes.
  • Consider revising the Village's Purchasing Policy as set forth in the Village's Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual for internal controls. The proposed changes are intended to streamline purchasing efficiency and align current purchasing practices with comparable are municipalities.
  • Consider approving an agreement Lessing’s Florida Ventures relating to the construction of an open air covered pavilion, as well as financial arrangements for the construction.
