[ARCHIVED] Agenda summary for July 28 Council meeting

Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Council will address at their meeting on Thursday, July 28th, beginning at 7 p.m.: 

  • Consider adopting a tentative millage rate of 7.05 mils for Fiscal Year 2023 and establishing the date for the first hearing on the tentative budget and proposed millage rate.
  • Consider approval of a revised and updated personnel rules and regulations manual.
  • Consider approval of the assignment and assumption of a Conservation Easement for MacArthur State Park.

Get involved

Residents are encouraged to attend meetings in person and offer commentary about Village business. As of July 14th, Council meetings will continue to be streamed live, but interactive Zoom technology will no longer be used. If you want to submit a comment or question to be read by the Mayor during the July 14th meeting, please visit the Council comments page (the commenting function was turned off at 4 p.m. Thursday to allow staff time to prepare submission for Council).
