[ARCHIVED] Agenda summary for August 3 Planning Commission meeting

Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Planning Commission will discuss at their meeting on Tuesday, August 3rd, at 6:30 p.m. in Village Hall:

  • Review an application for approval of a new acrylic panel sign with vinyl graphics at an existing plaza in the 700 block of Northlake Boulevard
  • Review a request for approval of building façade changes and new paint colors at a building in the 500 block of Northlake Boulevard
  • Review an application for approval of a subdivision, Planned Unit Development and a preliminary plat proposal for 12 single family lots at the southwest corner of Prosperity Farms Road and Allamanda Drive
  • Consider a proposed ordinance allowing electrical service on formerly developed vacant lots for the sole purpose of operating an irrigation system
  • Consider a proposed ordinance defining the term "vacation rental" in the Village and imposing specific requirements on vacation rentals, such as maximum occupancy, parking space limitations, health and safety standards and others
