The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach shall conduct a public hearing on the following ordinance on second and final reading: ORDINANCE NO. 2018-02

AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO IMPLEMENT ITS EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REPORT; REPEALING THE PUBLIC SCHOOL CONCURRENCY ELEMENT AND REVISING THE COASTAL MANAGEMENT ELEMENT AND THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATION ELEMENT; UPDATING THE PLAN TO REFLECT STATUTORY CHANGES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

The Village Council will conduct the public hearing on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as this matter can be heard, at North Palm Beach Village Hall, 501 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach, FL  33408.

All interested persons are invited to appear at the public hearing, which may be continued from time to time, and be heard with respect to this matter.  A copy of the Ordinance is on file at the Village Clerk’s Office for inspection by members of the public during normal business hours.  Ordinance 2018-02 and supporting documents are also available online.

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105).  In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person who may require special accommodation to participate in this meeting should contact the Village Clerk’s office at 841-3355 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date.
