Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Council will address at their meeting on Thursday, July 10 at 6 p.m. in Village Hall:
- Recognize Parks and Recreation Month with a proclamation celebrating the value of Parks and Recreation staff and facilities in community well-being.
- Celebrate the 14th Annual KidsFit Jamathon with a proclamation supporting youth fitness and healthy lifestyles.
- Appoint a new member to the Waterways Advisory Board after reviewing qualifications of applicants.
- Consider a $102,136 contract with Precision Landscape Company to install a portable irrigation line and sod at Anchorage Park to enhance field conditions.
- Adopt new rules for public participation and decorum at Village meetings to support respectful and productive dialogue.
- Hold the next “NPB University – Know Your Budget” session to offer residents a closer look at how the Village plans and manages its finances.
- Conduct a workshop on proposed tree preservation rules and permit requirements for tree removal, supporting long-term environmental goals.
