[ARCHIVED] Council to consider applicants for PZAB and Country Club Board Thursday

Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Council will address at their meeting on Thursday, April 24 at 6 p.m. in Village Hall: 

  • Recognize The Conservatory School's 10th Anniversary and all the good the school is doing for children and the community
  • Consider the appointment of several applicants to the Country Club Advisory Board, and the Planning, Zoning & Adjustment Board
  • Hear a presentation of the Audit Committee Annual Report
  • Consider approving a Third Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Chen Moore & Associates to increase the amount of compensation for Fiscal Year 2025 to $150,000
  • Consider on 2nd reading, modifications to the Board and Committee meeting schedules and absentee policy, adding an anti-nepotism provision, and adding a proposed requirement for committee quarterly reports to the Council
  • Consider on 2nd reading, changes to the Benjamin School Commercial Planned Unit Development. The proposed changes include adding a .93-acre parcel, extending the pick-up/drop-off loop, demolishing the existing administrative office building and constructing a new one, removing the unconstructed maintenance facility from the site plan, and reconstructing a portion of parking within the McLaren Road right-of-way
  • Consider on 1st reading, amending Village Code relating to the "C-T Transitional Commercial District," to adopt a new table of uses.
  • Consider a motion to confirm the appointment of Marquetta Fells as Deputy Village Clerk
  • Conduct a "NPB University - Know Your Department" session with the Public Works Department, taking an in-depth look at the Public Works Department, including its responsibilities, key budget items, and upcoming projects
