Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Council will address at their meeting on Thursday, March 14 at 7 p.m. For more details, click the link at the bottom to access the full agenda package.
The Council will:
- Present a dedication plaque in memory of resident Tom Magill, a long-time voluneer on the Village Audit Committee and other Village boards and committees.
- Issue a proclamation in recognition of International Women's Day.
- Issue a proclamation in recognition of Women's History Month.
- Consider on 2nd reading, changing Chapter 27 of Village Code, adopting "Sight Triangles" regulations. These changes are intended to ensure a clear area at the intersection of alleys, service lanes and roads, or private driveways and a public rights-of-way.
- Consider accepting a proposal from Marsh Management Systems for pond bank stabilization work at the Country Club Golf Course at a cost of $182,700.
- Consider approving a contract for Golf Course Maintenance Services with Brightview Golf Maintenance, at an annual cost of $1,761,137.
- Consider approving a State-Funded Grant Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for the design of the Lighthouse Drive Bridge replacement.
