Records Unit

The Records Unit is responsible for maintaining all official records of the department including:
  • Alarm permits
  • Crime and motor vehicle crash reports
  • Traffic citations
  • Village Ordinance violations
  • Numerous other documents

The Records Unit responds to public records requests from insurance companies, citizens, attorneys, and other law enforcement agencies as well. Fingerprinting services are also offered by Records for Village residents and businesses.
