What We Do
We are currently supporting 180 soldiers in four separate units. Donations of goods for care packages and monetary contributions to defray shipping costs are always welcome.
Donated items: for individual care packages, we can use small hand sanitizers, lip balm, gum, small packages of cookies, crackers, snack bars, hard candy, tootsie rolls, licorice, powdered drink mix, and especially cards and letters. A complete list of all the items we accept is available here, or from the Clerk’s office at Village Hall, 501 U.S. Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Donations can be dropped off at the Clerk’s office anytime during regular business hours or call 561-841-3355 to make arrangements for after hours drop off.
Monetary contributions are used to purchase requested items and cover shipping costs. Checks can be made out to Support Our Troops USA, Inc. and mailed to P.O. Box 14211, North Palm Beach, FL 33408, or sent to the Clerk’s office. Support Our Troops USA, Inc. is a 501(C)3 charitable organization, so all donations are tax deductible.

About the Program
Support Our Troops USA, Inc. is an organization of unpaid volunteers, with 100% of all contributions and donations used to deliver goods and services to our military personnel. The Village of North Palm Beach, in partnership with Support Our Troops USA, Inc., continues its mission to demonstrate our concern and raise morale by sending individual care packages and bulk items to our adopted and fostered military units.
Monetary Contributions
Our postage costs average $1,200 per shipment due to the amount of items we send to our units. Collecting monetary donations provides the only way to ship items and purchase requested items. Please make your check payable to Support Our Troops USA, Inc. You may deliver your contribution to the Village Clerk's office or mail it to:Support Our Troops USA, Inc.

Organize Your Own Donation Drive
Ask your co-workers to donate an item or make a monetary contribution. Request that your church or place of employment allow you to place a donation box on premises. Find a business who will partner with you for a donation drive or donate needed items to our program.Write Cards to Soldiers
Soldiers appreciate personal notes and cards more than anything else we send. Organize a card writing drive. Deliver cards to the Village Clerk's office and we will include them in the soldier's care packages.
Donation Drives
Donation drives are dedicated to soliciting shoppers at the Tequesta Dollar Tree, 113 N. U.,S. Highway 1. We ask shoppers to purchase specific items on our flyers. Purchased items are then placed in a donation bin and used to fill each soldier's bag. Note: We do not accept books, magazines, or personal care items due to the weight and cost to ship. Call 561-351-8459 to volunteer.
Packing Day
Packing day is held on Saturday, every 3-4 months. Volunteers fill soldier's bags, and box all donations for shipment. It's a really fun day for our volunteers! Sign up for packing days by calling 561-351-8459.
Card Sales
A local greeting card company provided patriotic cards that are sold. The purchaser is encouraged to write a message to a soldier and we mail the card.
Specific Donation Drives
Programs like "Operation Fiesta" and "Operation Freedom" encourage donations for a holiday or special event.
T-Shirt Sales
Local printing company provided custom designed T-shirts that are sold to residents and supporters for $10 each, call 561-841-3355 to order.
100% of all funds are allocated toward items we provide our soldiers and shipping costs!

Our History
The Village of NPB passed a resolution in November 2006 to adopt a military unit serving in Iraq through (ASA) America Supporting Americans, which was formed for the primary purpose of linking active military units with cities in order to establish a supportive connection between soldiers and communities.Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC), 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry, 3rd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division became our newly adopted unit.
Local residents and area citizens asked us to help support their soldier - their loved one - serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our volunteers were thrilled to help!
In January 2008, our Village Council agreed to foster the HHC 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Wolfhounds nicknamed the "Outlaws." This was exciting news to our volunteers as our newly fostered group is the companion unit to our HHC 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Wolfhounds nicknamed the "Hooligans."
The North Palm Beach Support Our Troops program has exceeded all expectations in the years since the Village Council formally adopted the HHC, 2-27 Inf., 3rd BDE, 25 ID. We continue to accept donations and monetary contributions are gratefully accepted to help offset shipping costs and to purchase additional supplies for our adopted soldiers.
