Drainage repair in alley behind Wells Fargo Bank begins March 29
Beginning Monday, March 29, crews will be repairing a drainage problem in the U.S. 1 eastside alley just north of South Anchorage Drive, behind the Wells Fargo Bank. Work will take up to two weeks, and the alley will remain open until April 2nd. Please use caution if you drive nearby or find an alternate route.
Crews will tear out asphalt and curbing in the alley behind the bank and reconstruct surface to better accommodate drainage and problems with standing water. A filtration system will be added to a nearby storm drain improving the quality of water that is released into local waterways. The project will cost about $38,000.
