Mango offers the only personalized, adaptive language-learning experience that provides the tools and guidance you need to expand your language skills wherever and however you learn best. Mango Sign-Up Instructions

  • Step 1: Get to MangoBanner Set
    • With a mobile device: Go to your app store, search Mango Languages, and download the app. You can also click to download from the App Store or Play Store here.
    • With a laptop or computer: Begin by signing up for Mango here. 
  • Step 2: Create a profile.
    • With a mobile device: Select "Sign Up." Type your email address, choose a password, and select "Sign Up." Read the Data Consent Form and select "I Agree."
    • With a laptop or computer: Select "Sign Up." Type your email address, choose a password, type in your library card number, and select "Sign Up." Read the Data Consent Form and select "I Agree."
  • Step 3: Select your language course. Choose from over 70 world languages, including English.
    • With a mobile device: Pick a language from the list or search for one in the search box.
    • With a laptop or computer: Pick a language from the list or search for one in the search box.
  • Step 4: Access Mango
    • With a mobile device: Select the blue "Search" button next to "Find Free Mango."
    • With a laptop or computer: Continue to next step.
  • Step 5: Search
    • With a mobile device: Type in "North Palm Beach" and press "Search." Select "North Palm Beach Public Library North Palm Beach, FL" from the list.
    • With a laptop or computer: Continue to next step.
  • Step 6: Type in your library card number.
    • With a mobile device: If outside the Library, type in your library card number and press "Access Mango."
    • With a laptop or computer: Continue to next step.
  • Step 7: Start learning
    • All devices: Start learning a new language.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have my Library card number when I sign into Mango?

You will need your Library card number if you are not at the Library. If you are at the Library, you will not need it to sign up.

With the app, do I have to keep signing in with my Library card?

No, Mango will keep you logged into the app unless you have not used Mango with an internet connection for twenty-one (21) days.

Will Mango remember my progress?

Mango will remember your progress if you are signed in with a profile. If you use Mango as a guest, you will have to manually return to where you last left off.

Can I switch to a new language?

Yes, Mango makes it easy to switch to learn a new language. From a laptop or computer, log into your profile and click the circle icon of the language you are currently learning from the top left corner. You can now select or search a new language to learn.

From your smart device, once you are logged into the app, select "Languages" from the top left corner. A new screen will show. Then, select the menu icon from the top left corner. You can not select or search a new language to learn.
