The Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, a Florida municipal corporation located in Palm Beach County, Florida (“Village”) will be receiving sealed bids for culvert repairs on Pepperwood Circle South and south of the intersection of Anchorage Drive and Marlin Road in the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida until August 15, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. EST at which time they will be opened and read aloud in the Village Hall Council Chambers.

The complete Invitation to Bid (ITB), including all specifications and bid forms, may be obtained by bona fide bidders upon application at Village Hall, 501 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach, Florida 33408, from DemandStar or from the Village website at:

A mandatory pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 25, 2019 2:00 P.M. EST at the Village of North Palm Beach Public Works Department, 645 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, and Florida 33408. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting may result in the rejection of your Bid.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing date for the receipt of bids.

Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security.  The amount of the security shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder’s total price indicated in the Bid Proposal Form.

Sealed bid envelopes should be marked “Pepperwood Circle South and Anchorage Drive Culvert Repairs.”  The Village of North Palm Beach shall accept the bid of the responsible bidder that best meets the needs of the Village, taking into consideration, among other things, the financial responsibility of the bidder, capability to perform the contract on a timely basis, previous satisfactory performance, and such other abilities of the bidder that the Village, in its sole discretion, determines will enable the bidder to perform effectively and efficiently. 

The Village shall not be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in connection with its response to this ITB.  The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, to solicit and re-advertise for new Bid submittals or to abandon the project in its entirety.
