Free Class: Preparing Your Yard and Community for Storms

Palm Beach County’s Environmental Resources Management Department is teaching residents how to potentially save hundreds of dollars after a storm, offering a class on how to prepare your landscape, community association or local government for hurricane season. Learn the mistakes that worsened damage in Hurricane Irma, and learn how to select trees and palms for wind resistance. You’ll get a voucher for two free native plants.
