How to do Business with The Village of North Palm Beach, Florida
The Village of North Palm Beach (Village) has de-centralized Purchasing effective October 1, 2017. Individual Department Heads will follow procedures identified by the Finance Department to obtain the greatest possible value and quality in the services and products purchased for the Village of North Palm Beach.
The Village encourages qualified vendors who are interested in doing business with the Village to respond to competitive solicitations. Although it is not required, vendors are encouraged to register with Demand Star or to register on our website in order to receive notifications when competitive solicitations are released. This will help your company to stay informed of opportunities with the Village.
Onvia DemandStar's automated notification services will send new opportunities via e-mail or fax. In order to receive these notifications, your company must activate an Onvia DemandStar account. Please have a member of your company visit the Onvia DemandStar homepage at www.Demandstar.com and click on Subscribe now! to register for a complimentary FREE AGENCY subscription. On the registration form, enter the required information for your business and be sure to enter Village of North Palm Beach in the Agency Name field.
To register on the Village Website, go to www.village-npb.org and click on the “Stay Notified” tile on the left side. Enter your email address and go to the Bid Postings category to subscribe. Notification of all new solicitations will be sent via email or text.
Competitive solicitation documents should always be read in their entirety. Vendors may ask questions to receive clarifications and should be sure that they understand the project when completing their proposal. Sealed replies to formal competitive solicitations for purchases of $25,000 or more must be returned to the Village Clerk’s office prior to the date and time identified in the solicitation. Replies received after the date and time will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Replies to informal competitive solicitations for purchases less than $25,000 (quotes) maybe by email or other delivery method. Follow instructions contained in each competitive solicitation.
The Village awards contracts to responsive and responsible vendors who offer the lowest price or that best meets the needs of the Village. Vendors should only deliver goods or perform services if they have a Purchase Order or a Village credit card. No employee is authorized to make a verbal purchase.
