CAMERA CLUB
2nd Tuesday of the Month
6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.
The Lighthouse Camera Club is a friendly group of photo enthusiasts. The membership consists of men and women with skill levels ranging from beginners to advanced amateurs, to professionals.  Members use everything from simple point and shoot cameras to advanced digital SLR.
Our meetings are fun and informal. Members have the opportunity to share pictures they have taken on a wide range of subjects, including travel pictures, sports, nature and wildlife, macro, portraits, street and architecture, people and almost any other areas of interest. The club decides on a theme for a slideshow which is a collection of images submitted by the members and presented at the monthly club meeting.
We have frequent guest speakers and workshops on all aspects of photography including instructional sessions on how to use the camera and what equipment is right for a specific purpose. We also offer extra instructional sessions on post-processing software like Photoshop , Photoshop Elements, Lightroom, On 1 and others.

We schedule at least one outside field trip a month. We visit  museums, wildlife preserves, botanical gardens, scenic areas, historic areas and zoos. The club is open to suggestions for future field trip ideas.
