Patrol personnel are the individuals patrolling neighborhood streets on a daily basis using both marked and unmarked vehicles. These men and women take pride in the service that they provide to citizens and are dedicated to problem solving in partnership with the community.
Patrol is the backbone of the Police Department, providing around the clock police service and response to Village residents and visitors. The men and women of Patrol respond to calls for service, participate in directed patrols and enforcement of statutes and ordinances, and offer crime prevention tips and education to the community.
Part of the Patrol philosophy is to work in partnership for a better quality of life with the community. Patrol encourages citizens to assist with this philosophy by reporting suspicious activity, and calling the department when help is needed with data driven pre-crime deployment to displace criminal activity. Together we can keep North Palm Beach a safe community and the best place to live under the sun.
Patrol is divided into four equally staffed squads supervised by a Sergeant/Watch Commander.
